Giza pyramids
Although the pyramids show that their architects had advanced engineering knowledge, it is highly unlikely that aliens have created them. It is hard to believe that some beings capable of interstellar travel wouldn’t have done a better job.
Egyptian carvings
Many UFO enthusiasts saw the carvings on the Temple of Osiris as proof of alien existence. However, it has been proven that the carvings depicting a jet place, a helicopter and some kind o flying saucer are the result of adjustments made by humans and natural erosion.
The Greek mechanism
This mechanism was found in 1900 and it used to predict accurately the location of the sun, moon and the 5 known planets. This mechanism has been described in Greek literature, but there was no mention of other-worldly visitors.
The Norwegian spiral
In 2009 an enormous spiral appeared in the sky over northern Norway, consisting of a blue light and an amazing pinwheel effect. Speculations over an extraterrestrial visit quicly emerged, but apparently it was only a failed Russian military test.
Crop circles
Although some people claimed they have seen flying saucers which created these elaborated patterns, it was revealed that most of them were done by pranksters or for tourist interests.
Dogu
These humanoid figures creted in prehistoric Japan were thought to depict sort of an astronaut, but scientists claim that they were most likely used in fertility rituals.
The Nazca lines
These Peruvian geoglyphs can only be seen properly from the air. This is why many enthusiats claimed that the ancient civilization tried to communicate with aliens or they were made by aliens themselves. However, scientists proved that these lines can be made without aerial help.
Saqqara bird
This bird was found in a tomb and UFO enthusiats claimed it was a proof that people have seen in those times plane-like objects, but scientists found that the bird has no aerodynamic properties conductive to flight but it is a religious artifact or merely a child’s toy.
Stonehenge
Ancient Astronaut theorists claimed that these stones were used to predict eclipses and this knowledge could have been shared to people only by aliens, however scientists claim that the civilization may have had some astronomical knowledge or it is also possible that there was too much astronomical meaning attributed to the stones.
Australian cave paintings
Although there have been some theories regarding an alien visit to Earth in ancient times, scientists have discovered that the paintings in this Australian cave have been made by humans and have been repainted numerous times over the history.
